Treasure Island

Treasure Island -- island, water

is an artificial island in the San Francisco Bay, connected to Yerba Buean Island. It was created for the Golden Gate International Exposition (1939), and it is named after the novel Treasure Island, by Robert Louis Stevenson, who lived in San Francisco from 1879 to 1880.
